Greetings, readers. I cannot go into details, [for privacy reasons], but the days of naïve, ‘too nice’ little Joey must come to an end. I enjoy very much being who I am, but certain circumstances have left me no choice but to make changes. While each one is not drastic, the sum of all could be pronounced.
First off, I going to subscribe to the old saying, “Neither a lender, nor a borrower be.” I have been burned before lending money, not by everybody mind you, but recently… big time. It was my family’s way to be generous and to help people out. It worked for them, but not for me.
Next, I am going to have to give up gaming on my computer. There are a few games which are so addicting to me that I have literally spent six to eight hours gaming. A few weeks back, after one of those marathon sessions, I felt like garbage! I was dizzy… because I had forgotten to eat all day.
Back when I bought this computer, I promised myself that I would produce a new book with it. Well, with the graphics card and fan are screaming, “STOP IT! YOU’RE KILLING US!”, I’d better get going on that book post haste. My dad was a workaholic. I am just the opposite. Only a handful of YouTubers make their living producing videos for their channel.
There are more things I am thinking of doing to better myself. I shall share those with you when I put them into play. Until soonest, love one another, check on your family and friends, always wear your mask and as always, happy reading.
